My Story
About Teandre Hamilton
My journey as a community advocate began from a deeply personal loss—my brother, who tragically lost his life to gun violence as a teen. This pivotal moment inspired me, along with my sister and co-founder, to start Hip Hop Glamm Gun Violence, a nonprofit dedicated to spreading awareness and helping teens avoid the dangerous path of gun violence. For 12 years, we served our community, working tirelessly to educate and guide teens towards a brighter future.
After obtaining my Psychology Degree from Paul Quinn College in 2022, My passion for uplifting young people eventually led me to a career in education as a high school teacher. Watching my students grow and make positive strides in their lives fueled my desire to continue my work in community service. Many of my students actively participate in our events, making a real impact on their own communities.
In 2024, I decided to expand my mission, envision the organization into Glamm Community Outreach. Our new focus extends beyond gun violence, as we aim to inspire teens through various community service initiatives. These hands-on experiences empower adolescents to develop essential life skills, set meaningful goals, and become the best versions of themselves
